Colette Wilkins was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1989 where she practised successfully as a barrister from New Square Chambers, a leading commercial and chancery set of chambers in Lincoln’s Inn, London.  Colette was admitted as an Attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2005 and joined Truman Bodden & Company the following year.   Colette appears as a recommended lawyer in the latest edition of Chambers Global where interviewees confirmed that Colette has  ‘made quite an impact’, described her as ‘reliable and efficient’ and  praised her broad litigation experience.  Colette has considerable experience in litigation and has appeared and advised in a wide range of company and commercial matters including shareholder disputes, liquidations, claims by and against directors, civil fraud, contractual disputes, and claims arising in connection with insurance, banking, trusts and professional negligence. Colette’s clients include local and international institutions and high net-worth individuals seeking advice or representation.  Colette has an interest in public law and has represented public authorities in the United Kingdom in judicial review proceedings.  She serves on Freedom of Information sub-committees in the Cayman Islands.

Eddie Stafford
was born and educated in South Africa. He studied law at the University of the Free State and was admitted as an Attorney in South Africa in 1995 and as a Conveyancer in 1996, He moved to the UK in 2001 where he was admitted as a Solicitor in 2003. He was admitted as an Attorney at Law in the Cayman Islands in 2007 and joined Truman Bodden & Company in 2008. Wilton McDonald II
has an extensive background in setting up all types of hedge funds and investment fund structures, and has worked closely with start-ups as well as “blue chip” investment fund managers, administrators and onshore counsel, based primarily in the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, Argentina, and Hong Kong. Wilton’s investment funds practice has afforded him the opportunity to gain experience in civil litigation, general corporate, partnership, trusts, and commercial law, as well as experience in securities and secured lending transactions, IPOs and stock exchange listings in Ireland and the Cayman Islands. By way of background, Wilton was admitted to the bar: in 2004 as an Attorney at Law in the Cayman Islands and Jamaica, and as a Barrister of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands Circuit); and also in 2002/ 2003 as an Attorney and Counselor of Law in Connecticut, and New York, USA. Prior to joining Truman Bodden & Company as an associate in November 2006, Wilton was employed as an investment funds associate in the Cayman Islands office of Ogier (formerly, Ogier & Boxalls), and Lennox Paton, Nassau, Bahamas. He also worked as an associate at a litigation boutique in New York, USA, and completed part of his legal training with Appleby Spurling & Kempe in 2002, and with Truman Bodden & Company in 2001. Wilton completed a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Caribbean University, an MBA from Andrews University, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University College London (graduating with upper-second class honors), a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from Fordham Law School, and completed the residence requirement for the Doctor of Juridical Science (JSD) degree at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, New York. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom, and prior to taking up a career in law, was a Senior Accountant with KPMG (1997– 2000), Senior Internal Auditor and Assistant Registrar of Companies with the Cayman Islands Government (1995- 1997), and part-time lecturer in accounting and business administration at the International College of the Cayman Islands (1993- 1998).
